That is why the last new pair may not have helped. A low vision device adds the size or the contrast that glasses cannot. Each one is matched to one task. Not everyone needs new glasses. The evaluation is billed to your medical insurance, and that includes Medicare. A specialist copay may apply. If a new prescription would help, there is a $50 fee to work it out.
