Yes, all four are on our list, along with UnitedHealthcare, Anthem, Tricare, UMR, Golden Rule, Health First, and Florida Health Care Plans. Most of these are medical plans, so they pay for visits about the health of your eyes. Do not see your plan named? Call anyway. Plenty of plans reach us through a bigger network under another name, and checking takes us a few minutes. Medicare usually covers an eye visit for a medical reason and usually does not cover a routine exam for glasses. A medical reason can be diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, a cataract, dry eye, or a new symptom. Medicare usually does not pay for glasses either. Some Medicare Advantage plans add a routine exam or a glasses allowance, and some patients keep a separate vision plan for that part. We quote it before you book, along with the cost of a contact lens fitting if you want one. You will have plenty of company. A yearly exam for glasses or contacts goes on your vision plan. A visit for a problem, such as [dry eye](https://akereyecenter.com/services/dry-eye-treatment), glaucoma, a red eye, or a [diabetic eye exam](https://akereyecenter.com/services/diabetic-eye-exams), goes on your medical insurance. Yes to both. We take HSA and FSA cards, along with cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
